Canada is just months away from an assisted suicide law that will make it legal to end someone else’s life. The Archdiocese of Vancouver is standing firm and encouraging the faithful to speak out now to influence the law and encourage a culture of palliative care in Canada. There are two specific ways parishioners can help. First, you will see postcards in the pews that can be signed and dropped in any mailbox. Second, a petition calling for a national palliative care strategy is in the entrance of the church. Please sign as this petition will be mailed postage-free to MP Mark Warawa, who is organizing the campaign. Thank you for your support as we build a culture of life.
