Pastor’s Christmas Message

As Christmas is upon us, let us contemplate how Pope Francis spoke about God entered the world: “He was born of the Virgin Mary, like all children, wrapped in swaddling clothes, picked up, nursed. Not only Him, but His mother and Joseph had to contend with the fact that there was no room for them in the inn.”
Another year has passed with many events, public and private, touching our lives and those of the people in our parish in different ways. May we pray that our hearts may always be open to others, and may we be especially conscious of those who have lost a loved one since last Christmas or the many overburdened by worries, sickness, and family problems or for many other reasons.
May we always have room for others in our inn. As we have hopefully benefited by this past Year of Mercy, may we keep that spirit alive in our hearts and homes.
May you all have a Blessed Christmas and a Holy and Happy New Year!
