Learning About Domestic Abuse- Sunday, October 29th – in the parish hall, after the 10:30 am Mass at St. Stephen’s. This 45 minute presentation will help you recognize the symptoms, risk factors, and warning signs of Domestic Abuse which occurs throughout our world and across communities, cultures and economic status. It will help you be more aware of its presence in your life or the lives of those you know and love. We will offer key ways to support the victim, and offer some options for finding help. We will also introduce you to the work of Domestic Abuse Services – Our Lady of Good Counsel Society and the wonderful work we do. Suitable for young people over 16 years of age and all adults. All are welcome.
