6 WEEK DISCOVERY SERIES – TUESDAYS OF LENT BEGINNING MARCH 12 – On December 7, 1990 Pope St. John Paul II wrote a papal encyclical about the Church’s missionary mandate. He stated that missionary activity is a matter for all Christians, for all dioceses, parishes, churches, institutions and associations. For in the Church’s history, missionary activity has always been a sign of vitality. Missionary activity renews the Church, revitalizes faith and Christian identity, and offers fresh enthusiasm in new incentives.
Faith is strengthened when it is given to others.
We all have a call to share Christ and bring the Gospel, but it is important to know the basics of the Catholic faith, and to challenge ourselves to a greater holiness this Lent.
Come and join Pauline Correa (parishioner and CCO [Catholic Christian Outreach] member) as we take a step deeper into our faith. Lesson 1 will be about “God’s Love.”
