Federal Election on October 21

FEDERAL ELECTION -The faithful are reminded that Election Day in Canada is Oct. 21, and in a letter Archbishop Miller reminds Catholics they have a moral obligation to vote, according to the Catechism of the Catholic Church. The Archbishop reminds the faithful that, “Voting is more than an act of civic participation. It is a serious responsibility that lets us bring our Christian values to the ballot box in the hope of positively influencing Canadian society.” The full letter is in this week’s bulletin and online at rcav.org/election2019.
