CHABC Bursary for Students

CHABC NEWS – The board of directors of the Catholic Health Association of BC will grant a $500 bursary to a graduating student who is enrolled in a Catholic secondary school or who is a member of a BC or Yukon parish and enrolled in a public secondary school or who is home-schooled. Interested students are invited to submit a 500 word essay to the Association by April 3, 2020, that demonstrates an awareness and understanding of the significance of Spirituality in Health Care. Essays may be sent by regular mail to Catholic Health Association of British Columbia, 9387 Holmes Street, Burnaby, BC V3N 4C3 or via email to info@chabc.bc.ca. Applicants must include a return address as well as information about the school he or she attends and the date and place of their graduation ceremony. We require all of this information before submissions will be considered. Emailed submissions must be in prior to midnight on the 3rd of April 2020. A committee of the CHABC board of directors will evaluate all submissions that are received by the specified due date and announce the recipients of the bursaries before April 30, 2020.
