April 5 is Palm Sunday.  Please have your palms during the Eucharistic Celebration.

April 9, is Holy Thursday.  Archbishop Miller will celebrate the Chrism Mass at Holy Rosary Cathedral with Bishop Monroe, the Vicar General, Judicial Vicar, and Rector of the Cathedral. This Mass will be live-streamed in order for the priests of the Archdiocese, in their own rectories, are able to watch and renew their Priestly Promises. Please keep all the priests in your prayers at this time.

April 10, is Good Friday. All the faithful are encouraged to place a Cross / Crucifix in an appropriate place in their home as they unite themselves in prayer for the celebration of the Passion of the Lord. This Cross / Crucifix may be venerated with a genuflection or profound bow, especially at the corresponding time in a live-streamed Liturgy.

St. Stephen’s Parish will be open on Good Friday, for confessions from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon and again, from 5:00-6:00 pm. Confession is available at any time by contacting the office or during regular time every Saturday 3:00pm to 4:30pm. Confession will be held in the upper room in order to follow the social distancing/sanitation procedures that we are asked to practice (six feet away from each other.)

April 11 is our Easter Vigil. Parishioners are united in prayer with the celebration of Easter vigil through live-streaming events. We are encouraged to have a candle available in their home (such as their baptismal candle or another worthy candle.) Please light the candle during the ritual times.

On April 12: The Archdiocese will provide a live-stream of the Easter Sunday Mass during the day, celebrated by Archbishop Miller at the Holy Rosary at 11:00am, Sunday.

If there is anything your Parish can do, please give the office a call and we will endeavour to help as best as we can.

May God grant you a blessed Holy Week and Easter.
