Amid a global pandemic, and the ongoing conflict and violence in Colombia, Jesuit Refugee Service (JRS) Colombia accompanies, serves, and advocates on behalf of forcibly displaced people. Its work focuses on strengthening relationships between people who have been displaced and the host population. It facilitates the integration of migrants, especially women, who struggle to adjust to their new environment and face the ever-present threat of violence. Juana Potes, Programs Officer of JRS Colombia, talks about their and their challenging context. Remember that even if the time doesn’t suit, if you register, a recording will be sent to you to view at your own leisure.
