For Ash Wednesday, February 17th, from 7:00 – 7:30 p.m. we will have a distribution
of ashes and the reception of the Holy Eucharist. The format will be similar to
what we have already for the reception of the Holy Eucharist on Saturday from 4:00 –
4:30 p.m. and Sundays at 8:00 – 8:30 and 10:00 – 10:30 a.m. except that Fr.
Hawkswell will accompany me. He will precede me in the queue and distribute
ashes by sprinkling them on the head of each person, who will then move forward
in the queue to receive the Holy Eucharist.

The preparation of saying the prayers on the billboard prior to reception of the Holy
Eucharist and the thanksgiving prayer of the Anima Christi after remains the
same.

Both priests will have sanitized their hands before and will be wearing masks
during the distribution of ashes and the reception of the Holy Eucharist.
