This workshop is led by Christopher Suen, Choirmaster and Director of Music at Holy Family Parish. Chris will begin by speaking briefly about the history, use, and theory of chant, then dive into a practical session that will involve singing some chants. It is open to all levels of singing and will be a chance for people to deepen their understanding of the beautiful texts and the way they are sung during the mass, ultimately drawing them closer to worshipping God in the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass. Sunday, August 29 at 3:00 p.m. Learn more and register at beholdvancouver.org/events.
