Men’s Lenten Retreat

All Male Parishioners are invited to the MEN’S LENTEN RETREAT – Saturday, March 12th – Sponsored by St. Stephen’s and Holy Trinity Knights of Columbus Council. Fr. Augustine Obiwumma is the Retreat Master and his theme will be “Men and prayer”. Mass at 8:30 am at Holy Trinity followed by the talks from 10 am to 3:30 pm in the hall. Tickets are $20 and include a light snack and lunch. Tickets will be sold after Masses this week-end. A few tickets are also available at the parish office.

Here is our parish schedule of Holy Masses and Services for the Easter Triduum:

For Weekday Masses : There are no morning Masses on Holy Thursday, Good Friday and Holy Saturday.

HOLY THURSDAY—APRIL 5, 2012
MASS OF THE LORD’S SUPPER—7:00 PM with Adoration at the Altar of Repose until Midnight.

GOOD FRIDAY, APRIL 6, 2012
GOOD FRIDAY is a universal day of fast and abstinence. On those days you may not substitute acts of charity or piety in place of abstinence. The requirement to fast binds those from 18 to 59 yeas of age. Abstinence (no meat allowed) binds those 14 years old and up.

HOLY SATURDAY, APRIL 7TH

CONFESSIONS — FROM 9:30 AM TO 11:00 AM

EASTER VIGIL— 10:00 PM

The celebration of the Easter Vigil is the most important event / premier celebration of the Church liturgical calendar, hence everyone is encouraged to attend. It includes the blessing of the new fire; blessing of the Easter candle; the ceremony of light; the Easter Proclamation; the blessing of the Easter water; candidates for Baptism and/or candidates for Profession of Faith ; the renewal of our baptismal vows and the celebration of the Eucharist. Please note that the Easter Vigil is also an Easter Mass and those who participate need not attend again on Easter Sunday.

EASTER SUNDAY, APRIL 8TH – MASSES—8:30 AM, 10:30 AM

NO EVENING MASS AT 6:30 PM

Please Note—There will be NO First Friday Adoration on April 6th as it is Good Fri

day. There will be Stations of the Cross at 11 am.

*The Parish Office will be closed on Good Friday, April 6 and Easter Monday, April 9.*
