All Soul’s Envelopes and the Book of Remembrance

“ALL SOULS” ENVELOPES—are in the entrance of the church for those of you who wish to offer Masses for your loved ones in the month of November. You may write the names of the deceased on the “All Souls” envelope, include the Mass offering and hand it in to the parish office or to Father Mark. Father will offer one Mass for all the departed souls on your list.

The Book of Remembrance is in the entrance of the church this week onwards till the end of the month. Please include the names of your departed loved ones who have died in the past year only. The book will be placed at the foot of the altar at the beginning of November to pray for all the departed souls.

Knights of Columbus News- North Shore Men’s Lenten Retreat

Knights of Columbus News- North Shore Men’s Lenten Retreat – 2013 is St. Stephen’s Fiftieth Birthday and this year our Men’s Half Day Retreat will look back fifty years ago to 1963 and the Second Session of Vatican II.

On Saturday February 23, 2013 -10:30am-12:30pm in St. Stephen’s Parish Hall- Father Martin Moser, OMI will lead our session. All men are welcome to join us for Mass at 9 am with Father Landry and spend a few minutes with comrades in conversation and a slide presentation on the decree on the media of social communication (Inter Mirifica). Father Moser will join us at 10:30am and give a talk on aspects of Vatican II and their relevance today in 2013, fifty years later. Father Moser is the pastor of St. Peter’s in New West and teaches at St. Mark’s College in the Master’s program.
